What are the terms and conditions?

When it comes to service, you'll be glad you bought your item at Hermes Music.

  • 14 days for exchanges and returns, the duration of the guarantee with the manufacturer is established by the manufacturer.
  • Proof of purchase is required when making a claim for any manufacturer.
  • Warranty claims sent to Hermes Music take 2-4 business days to process and replacement depends on manufacturer findings after the product is sent to them.
  • Shipping cost varies by manufacturer. 
  • Some manufacturers require the customer to contact them directly for warranty claims.
  • Hermes Music provides excellent customer service and we will do our best to assist on warranty claims.

Changes and refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee, items that are returned within the time indicated, in their original condition, and with all components can be considered case by case for a 100% refund.

What are the warranties on accordions?

Hermes Music will cover you for 14 days after your purchase and the manufacturer offers 30 days straight of warranty after the initial 14 days. After the 14 days are up, the brand’s certified technician will be in charge of servicing your accordion.

Prerequisites for warranty reparations:

  • Proof of Purchase
  • Send video or specific description of the problem in order to proceed with the service.

Hermesmusic.com has a very effective quality control system. Each unit shipment goes through a detailed quality inspection upon arrival at our warehouse. The process has several steps, it begins with a certified technician that makes sure that the product is free of transportation damage, tuning is calibrated in all notes***, ensuring that the buttons react to their standard and that the bellow is free of air leakage.

We would like to remind you that the time given for products to leave our warehouse can range from 1-3 business days, the accordions pass one last time through the quality control department before leaving our warehouse to make sure that you receive the accordion in perfect condition.

COVERAGE:

Manufacturer’s Warranty:

Economic Accordions: On the majority of economic accordions the warranty is for 30 days on the mechanics of the accordion. It is important to note that the warranty comes straight from the manufacturer and only covers parts and service. Hermesmusic.com then determines the validity of your warranty and authorizes the repair prior from reception on the shop’s behalf, in case you have not previously contacted hermesmusic.com our technician will perform a courtesy inspection and processes authorization based on their criteria.

High-End Accordions: On high-end accordions, the manufacturer’s warranty is one (1) year on behalf of the manufacturer, the warranty covers the machinery of your accordion.

 

In any of our high-end accordions, coverage is as follows:

Reeds: to replace broken reeds*** a maximum of 4 reeds are covered, the replacement of the reeds after 4 reeds will have a cost assigned by the shop. The reeds service covers tuning or replaced reeds, it does not cover full tuning. This service is optional and available at an additional price.

  • ***If the technician determines that the reeds were broken due to abuse or lack of knowledge when it comes to handling the accordion are not covered by the warranty.

Tuning: the warranty does not cover full tunings and/ or customizations of any kind; in case of experiencing an excessive and frequent amount of broken reeds, the technician will prepare a full report for the manufacturer’s consideration.

Labor: While the damage is covered by the warranty, the client will not generate labor costs.

Shipping: For low and medium range accordions, the warranty covers one (1) repair trip, that is, if the accordion needs to be sent in for repair, the customer sends it on their own and Hermes Music will return it without any additional charges for the client. For high-end accordions, the warranty covers two (2) repair trips, that is, if the accordion must be sent in, Hermes Music will provide the repair label and will return to the customer at no additional charge; hereinafter shipments for repairs are at the customers’ expense.

 

*WARRANTIES ARE NON-TRANSFERIBLE

Product warranties are valid only with the customer registered as the buyer on hermesmusic.com; if the original client sells the accordion, the warranty is invalid.

If you purchased your accordion from an authorized dealer or re-seller, he/ she will be responsible for registering your name for warranty validity.

 

Warranty details by brand:

Cantabella Accordions: 14 days with the store and 1 year with the manufacturer depending on the model.

This warranty does not apply to clearance sales, or promotions where it is specified that the warranty coverage has been modified.

Cantabella product repairs are carried out in the Hermes Music workshop, you can contact us directly at: sales@hermes-music.com.

 

Sonola Accordions: 14 days with the store and 1 year with the manufacturer depending on the model.

This warranty does not apply to clearance sales, or promotions where it is specified that the warranty coverage has been modified.

Sonola product repairs are carried out in the Hermes Music workshop, warranty repairs on parts after the first year carry labor cost and are quoted in advance for approval; You can contact us directly at: sales@hermes-music.com.

 

Anacleto Accordions: 14 days with the store, and 1 year with the manufacturer; This warranty does not apply to clearance sales, or promotions where it is specified that the warranty coverage has been modified.

For Hohner repairs during the first 14 days after your purchase contact: sales@hermes-music.com.

After 14 days, Hohner can be contacted directly at 800.446.6010.

 

Hohner: 14 days with the store, and 90 days with the manufacturer; This warranty does not apply to clearance sales, or promotions where it is specified that the warranty coverage has been modified.

Models: Panther, Compadre, Corona (all versions), Bravo, etc ...

After 14 days, Hohner can be contacted directly at 800.446.6010.

 

Weltmeister: 14 days with the store, and 90 days with the manufacturer; This warranty does not apply to clearance sales, or promotions where it is specified that the warranty coverage has been modified.

Montanari: 14 days with the store, and 30 days with the manufacturer; This warranty does not apply to clearance sales, or promotions where it is specified that the warranty coverage has been modified.

The Montanari guarantee does NOT cover shipments to the workshop.
